This workshop is designed for writers and aspiring writers who want to record their family food story and collect their favourite recipes in one place.

Barbara Sweeney is a visually evocative food writer who has written stories about chefs and restaurants, farmers and food producers, and everyday cooks for publications such as Country Style and The Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food.

A natural teacher, Barbara’s food writing workshops are both playful and challenging. She believes we all have a story to tell and is adept at guiding students through their hesitations and procrastination to writing freely and joyously.

Having a nourished life is not rocket science, but sometimes in the business of the everyday, it can feel like it. What Mon's Moore Nourished Life workshop offers is an opportunity to reset. Gather with like-minded humans share knowledge, learn and connect - providing a space for solutions based progress. The day (and if you can squeeze in an overnight stay) will feature bush walks, meditation, restorative yoga, breath work sessions, lessons with Mon and nourishing meals.

A note from Mon: My focus is on the mental, emotional and physical wellbeing of women in midlife. How do we manage ourselves moving into midlife and beyond? I help you build the scaffolding and find practical tools that are relevant for you. Leave with actionable strategies so you are empowered and confident to look after the whole of you.
